This course provides training on systems and codes that are unique to healthcare facilities. This course covers The Joint Commission, NFPA 99 and Article 517 of the 2017 NEC. An overview of the essential and emergency electrical systems found in healthcare facilities. Students will be provided with information on locations and equipment in healthcare facilities such as patient beds, pediatric, anesthetize, isolated power systems, X-ray equipment and nurse call systems.
